A day ‘of the children’, ‘for the children’, and

On 19th November (instead of the 14th !) , CSA celebrated and re-lived childhood in a unique way altogether. A whole day of games and fun was organised just for the kids from various NGO’s and slums. The volunteers and staff spent the day amidst children, playing and enjoying with them. The celebrations held in the campus witnessed around 517 children from 7 different NGOs namely, Ananya, Bosco Mane, Echo, Dream a Dream,
Chaithanya, APSA and CSA (Rajendra Nagar slum) enjoying themselves. The programme included fun games and catered to children of all age groups and was followed by lunch and a series of cultural programs by the kids themselves!
“Man, they are full of energy!” exclaimed a CSA volunteer who was part of the fun. The celebrations were planned and headed by the ‘Marginalised Children’ group of the Vikas Project of CSA.
