The formal inauguration of CSA activities for the year 2009-10 took place on the 11th of July 2009. New volunteers were briefed on the activities that we do and were encouraged to choose which one they wanted to be a part of. The chief guest was H.R. Srinivasa IAS, the Commissioner for Civil Supplies and Food. He inspired and motivated all of us. New troop leaders and group leaders were formally announced. Arun Williams and Swathi (junior) took charge as troop leaders for the coming year. It was encouraging to see so many new faces volunteering towards the cause. We hope this sprirt wil survive through the years to come. 🙂
